Val Fenga
Val Fenga (German: Finbachtal) is a meridian valley in the Rhône Alps separating the west of the Silvretta massif from the eastern Samnaun massif.
The length of the valley is about 15 km. The valley ends in Ischgl, at an altitude of 1376 m, where it joins the main valley Patznauntal. Aua da Fenga (German: Fimbach) flows through the valley to the river Trisanna in Patznauntal valley.
The state border crosses the valley. The upper, southern part of the valley, about 2/5 of its length, belongs to Switzerland, while the lower part of the valley belongs to Austria. In the lower part of the valley there are numerous ski lifts belonging to the large ski resort Silvretta Skiaren. In the upper part of the valley there is a Heidelberger Hütte (2254 m), accessible by a narrow road from the Austrian side.
