Konstanty Rynarzewski (born 1823 in Płock province, died on 7 November 1863 in Żelazna near Przasnysz) was a Polish military officer, major in the January Uprising.
He was the son of a major Polish soldier. He served as the staff of the Lower Infantry Regiment, with whom he was stationed in Wloclawek in the 1860s, then in Ostrołęka. In May 1863, after the skirmish of a Russian unit with insurgents under the command of Ignacy Mystkowski - Battle of Stokiem, he went to the Polish side (there is also a version that the transition was only in July). From August 1863 to the rank of Major was nominated by the National Government as the military chief of the Pułtus county. He formed a unit composed mostly of Kurpie, with 250 shooters, 160 sailors and 30 cavalry.
At the end of October, he fought a battle in the village of Czarna. On November 6, his unit, combined with a squadron under Captain Lenartowicz, took up the battle with the overwhelming Russian forces in the vicinity of the village of Żelazna near Przasnysz. Ultimately, Rynarzewski's division managed to retreat to Omulew, but the mortally wounded commander died the day after the battle. Bibliography
