Rafał Sztencel (born 22 May 1953, 26 January 2008) is a Polish mathematician, journalist and translator, lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw and at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. He was the author of probabilistic textbooks and a series of articles in the monthly "Delta". His doctoral thesis was written by prof. Stanisław Kwapienia.
