Sergei Spasokukocki


Sergey Ivanovich Spasokukocki (Russian: Сергей Иванович Спасокукоцкий, born June 10, 1870, died November 17, 1942) - Soviet physician, surgeon. In 1912 he became professor at the University of Saratov, and in 1926 he became professor at the University of Moscow and the Institute of Medicine. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. One of the Russian pioneers of intestinal surgery, stomach and thoracic surgery. He was also the author of the method of lung epithelial surgery. In 1929 he developed a method of washing his hands in field conditions with ammonia solution. While working in Saratov, he proposed a new method of treating cerebral palsy, which was to remove them before Walter Dandy. Bibliography
