Steppe vegetation

Steppe vegetation - plant communities growing on steppe. They are dominated by grasses, although significant and often significant are also the color of flowering perennials. The plants have a xeromorphic habitat - the leaves are narrow, the storage organs (bulbs and tubers used to store nutrients and water) are common. Depending on the habitat and climatic conditions, the steppe vegetation is transformed into a forest, a semi-desert or a desert. The cycle of transformation of steppe vegetation is dependent on the course of temperature and moisture. High temperatures in summer (25 degrees Celsius) and low rainfall (on average up to 40mm) do not provide the conditions for larger plants. So there are very few in the steppe.
