TSF (tank)


Renault TSF - French light tank from World War I equipped with a radio station to maintain communication between armored units and higher command. Built on the FT-17 light tank chassis in which the rotary tower was replaced by a stationary armored superstructure that housed the E 10ter radio. The crew was enlarged to three people (FT-17 crew was two). History

In the years 1918-1919 about 200 vehicles of this type were built. In service, they survived the Second World War. In Poland there were 6 such cars which Poland bought in the 1920s from France (serial numbers from 2001 to 2006). Plans and models Bibliography
