Emil Müller
Emil Müller (born 1918, died 28 May 1947) is a Nazi criminal, member of the concentration camp Mauthausen-Gusen and SS-Hauptscharführer.
Member of the Waffen-SS since April 1936. He served in the Mauthausen camp complex from January 1942 to February 1943. Müller was a block officer in the main camp and then head of the prisoners' committee at the Steyr sub-camp. He participated in executions that took place in camp quarries (to which he partly acknowledged during the postwar process). As a blockbuster he repeatedly abused prisoners of various nationalities.
Emil Müller was convicted in the trial of Mauthausen-Gusen (US vs. Johann Altfuldisch and others) by the American Military Tribunal in Dachau for the death penalty. The sentence was made by hanging in the Landsberg prison on May 28, 1947. Bibliography
