Nikolay Sklifosovsky

Nikolay Wasylewicz Sklifosowski (Russian: Николай Васильевич Склифосовский, born April 6, 1836, December 13, 1904) is a Russian physician, surgeon and physiologist. Professor, author of fieldwork.

In 1871 he became a professor at the University of Kiev. In 1880 he moved to Moscow and became a professor at that university. Sklifosowski was also a professor at the Institute for the Improvement of Physicians in St. Petersburg for 7 years. He was a member of the Austro-Prussian wars of 1866, Franco-Prussian from 1870-1871, and Russian-Turkish from 1877-1878. He wrote publications on the care of victims of the fight. In 1900 he organized the 1st Russian surgeons' congress. Bibliography
