Smoke bomb

A smoke bomb - an air bomb filled with smoke to produce smoke that is neutral or irritating (tear).

A smoke bomb is used to mask important objects, maneuvers of maneuvers and blindness or disorientation of enemy troops.

The smoke bombs consist of: oxidant (Ketainer, KNO3), fuel (sugar, C12H22O11), moderator (baking soda, NaHCO3) and powdered dye (potassium chlorate, KClO3). The mixture burns in the absence of oxygen, the dye evaporates and leaves the air bomb, creating a colorful smoke. Bibliography
