Tomasz Gąssowski


Tomasz Gąssowski (born 1963) - musician, composer, music producer and film producer.

He wrote music for Andrzej Jakimowski's films: Squint, Tricks, Imagine, and Once in November. For the music of Imagine received the MocArta Radio RMF Classic for the best film music of 2013. He also composed music for films from the town of Andrzej Kotkowski and Lila Dominika Łapka. Roberto Majewski, Bobo Stenson, Palle Danielsson, Joey Baron, who received the Fryderyk Award for the best jazz album of 2011. Produced a CD with his own compositions Warm, Cold, Anna Serafinska, Kumple is the ground and the wall: Lluis Llach's Song of the Representative Team and Rescue Sadly Iwona's team.

He is constantly working with Iwo Zaniewski and Kotem Przyborą as a composer to participate in their advertising campaigns.

In 2014, he graduated from the Trial Studio, a film course at the Wajda School, and in 2016 made his debut as a screenwriter and film director for the 30-minute film Baraż. Award for Best Actor in a Short Film at the 32nd Warsaw Film Festival.

He is a co-founder of the producer company of the Union of Artists and Craftsmen - ZAiR and a member of the Polish Academy of Film.
