The first three years he worked as an educator at the Salesian College in Quito. From 1904 he was an educator at the Salesian College of. Columba in Guayaquil, while continuing his philosophical and theological studies. On June 26, 1910, he was ordained a priest.
As a priest, he remained in Guayaquil, where he was a confessor, chaplain of the local female convent and professor of languages at the college. Columbus. During the holiday months he helped in missionary work among the Hiwaros near Riobamba. After World War I and regaining independence in Poland, he conducted propaganda campaigns in Ecuador for the benefit of his country. He published in the press a series of articles devoted to history, economy and culture of Poland, he collected money for invalids, war orphans and flood victims. In the absence of a Polish diplomatic representative in Ecuador, he worked in the government's emigration department, helping Polish immigrants get jobs and housing. He was also a pastor of the Polish colony in Ancona near Guayaquil. The Polish government honored his work with the Golden Cross of Merit (1927).
