Hryćko Czarny, actually Hryćko Sawic (Croatian Грицько Чорний) - Cossack hetman in the years 1624, 1628, 1629-1630.

He came from Cherkas. Its social origin is unknown.

As a protege of Koniecpolski hetman - elected in the early spring of 1628, from the Cossack elders to the hetman of the Cossacks registers. He led Propolian politics, leaning on the Greek-Catholic Union.

In November 1628 he organized an expedition to the Crimea. Some of the Cossacks refused to take it (the reason was lack of warm clothing). The commanded by the hetman was defeated by Perekop.

In the early spring of 1630, due to the dissatisfaction of a large part of the unregistered cossack, there was a revolt led by Taras Fedorovich. He was captured by rebellious black and condemned to death. Judgment by cutting hands and head made Tatar.
