Wardrobe with patch panels

Patch panel or patch panel, patch panel - passive component of computer and telecommunications networks. It is mounted in racks and consists of a series (usually 12, 16, 24 or 48) 8P8C sockets. It is the end of structured cabling. At the back, the wires leading to the 8P8C sockets in the building are permanently connected to it. On the front with patch cords, these connectors (and hence the devices on the other end of the cable) are connected to network devices.

This is an important part of the structural network. Using patch panels makes it easy to manage your network architecture.
