Anton Klein


Anton Klein (born 1916, died November 5, 1948) is a captain in the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp and war criminal.

As an agricultural worker. A prisoner of the Mauthausen concentration camp since 1938. In 1944 he was transferred to the Ebensee sub-camp and was set up there by the camp authorities first kapo and then block. Klein tormented the prisoners in every way, maltreating them in every possible way. Many of them killed in this way.

Anton Klein was sentenced by the American Military Tribunal in Dachau for the death penalty for his crimes. The sentence was made by hanging in the Landsberg Prison on November 5, 1948. Bibliography
