Jan Paweł Kozubek ps. Szczerba (born November 29, 1915 in Tarnowskie Góry, died September 14, 1944 in Warsaw) - lieutenant, participant in the Warsaw Uprising.

Curriculum vitae

During the Nazi occupation, he was active in the Polish underground army.

During the Warsaw Uprising he was the commander of the motorized platoon in the company "Żuk" and the officer of the "Broda 53" Brigade Brigade of the Home Army.

He was killed on September 14, 1944 in the insurrectionist fight at ul. Circle 2 on Czerniakow. He was 28 years old. He was buried in the quarters of the soldiers and paramedics of the "Zośka" baon in the Military Powazki in Warsaw.

Honored with the Cross of Valor.
