Lipniki (Wołyńskie voivodship)
Lipniki is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bereźne, within Kościan Province, Poland.
Lipniki was a Polish colony founded at the end of the first half of the 19th century in the area of Mikołaj Rybczynski. The first settlers were probably from Sarn and Zhitomir. There were 55 homesteads in the colonial war.
On the night of 26 March 27, 1943, the colony was attacked by a UPA detachment under the command of Ivan Lytvynchuk, along with other Ukrainian inhabitants. The victims of the crime were 179-182 people, in addition to Poles, 4 Jews and 1 Russian.
