Milan Ohnisko

Milan Ohnisko (born 16 July 1965 in Brno) is a Czech poet and editor. Having left two secondary schools, he worked as a physical worker, founded a publishing company, and ran a bookstore. Creation Ohniska's poetry is a mixture of naivistic technique that combines word play with highly rational conclusions, neo-decadent sense of tragedy, and the diminished sense of closeness to the mainstream outcast. In his poetry, naivism as a form of describing existential considerations goes hand in hand with absurdity, humor and irony.
