MOS Wola Warsaw - Polish male volleyball team, being a section of the MOS Wola Warsaw sports club from Warsaw.
MOS WOLA was established in 1965 as an out-of-school institution. The main task of MOS is to promote sport and recreation among young people. In 1980, a group of coaches and activists decided to create an Intercollegiate Sports Club at the MOS WOLA, which was registered at the Warsaw Sports School. From that moment the talented young athletes from Wola could take part in the official sports competitions organized by the Polish Sports Associations. They could even fight for the championship of Poland.
Girls and boys from MOS WOLA won a total of 30 volleyball championships in Poland, including eight gold. More than 140 volleyball players and netballers, MOS Wola graduates, went to the 1st and 2nd division teams.
There are many well-known netballers and volleyball players in Poland, such as representatives of Polish seniors:
MOS Wola players won medals in junior and world championships. Arkadiusz Gołaś and Maciej Kosmol won the bronze medals of the world championship in Riyadh in 2003. In 2003, two volleyball players MOS Wola Bartosz Gawryszewski and Tomasz Drzyzga became the vice-champions of Europe until the age of 18.
