Roman Sitkowski
Roman Sitkowski ps. "Wiktor" (born July 29, 1915 in Kozienice, Poland, October 13, 2007) - Polish military officer, colonel AK, veteran militant activist.
Participant of the Polish War of September 1939, and in the period preceding the uprising of the Warsaw military underground organizer. During the uprising he commanded the platoon 686 "Grochów" - Battalion "Ryś". He was wounded on August 27, 1944, at ul. Cadets in Warsaw. At the end of the war he was in exile in London. He was a member of the Main Board of the Home Army, a co-founder of the Home Army Foundation and a co-founder and president of the Friends of Polish University in Poland. Regiment.
