University of Agriculture in Datnow


The school was built in 1911-14. Akademijos žemės ūkio institutas (Akademijos žemės ūkio institutas) - agricultural school located in the academy near Datnow, Lithuania. 16th century mansion in Datnow.

The school is housed in a 16th century palace built by the Izakowski family. It was founded by Prime Minister Stolypin in 1911. In the years 1911-14 a new seat was established with the student home. After Lithuania regained its independence in 1918, the school operated as a School of Agriculture and Forestry (žemės ūkio ir miškų mokykla), since 1922 as a Technical College of Agriculture (žemės ūkio technikumu).
