14th Armored Division (USA)

14th Armored Division (14th Armored Division) was an American armored division formed on November 15, 1942. Arrived in southern France in October 1944, it reached the front in November, fought in the Vosges in the 7th Armored Division. She ended the war in Bavaria. In total, she spent 133 days engaged in combat, during which she lost 447 killed, wounded 1998, 422 missing and 22 captured.

After the war, the division returned to the United States and was dissolved in September 1945.
