Aleksander Jan Woyde (born 1834 in Warsaw, died 28 October 1889) is a well-known Warsaw architect. XIX century.
Alexander was the youngest son of Professor Maurice Woyde and Celestine of Labesius, Calvinist, brother of General Augustus. He attended the Institute of Nobility in Warsaw. After completing his studies at the Institute he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts until 1857, and then worked as a trainee at the Building Council of the then Ministry of Interior. At the age of 43, he was appointed a builder of the Warsaw district, and three years later, in 1870, a builder of the gubernian government in Warsaw.
He built about 300 buildings in the capital. own tenement house at ul. Hoża 32. Most of them were destroyed in 1939 and 1944.
