Ceslaus Gotthard von Schaffgotsch
Ceslaus Gotthard von Schaffgotsch (born November 9, 1726 in Wroclaw, died 17 October 1781) is a vicar general of the bishopric of Wroclaw.
Ceslaus Gotthard von Schaffgotsch was the son of Hans Anton von Schaffgotsch. From 1747 to 1748 he studied at the University of Paris and in 1748 received a doctorate in theology from the University of Orleans. In the same year he became a canon of the cathedral chapter in Wroclaw, and in 1753 he was a preacher of the chapter.
In 1756 his brother Bishop of Wroclaw Philipp Gotthard von Schaffgotsch appointed him vicar general of the diocese. In 1757 Ceslaus Gotthard and his brother fled to the Austrian part of the diocese of Wroclaw. In 1763 he renounced the canon in the Wrocław chapter. Bibliography
