Helena Wolf also Wolff ps. Doctor Anka - (born March 2, 1915, died April 3, 1944 in Brody or Radom) - Polish physician, lieutenant, posthumously promoted to major degree, serving in the People's Army, head of the Radomsko-Kieleckie AL health service.

After the outbreak of World War II, she worked at St. Spirit and the Wolski Hospital in Warsaw. After some time, she moved outside Warsaw.

In 1943 she became a member of the Polish Workers' Party and the People's Guard. She participated in the fighting activities of the 1st Brigade of the People's Army. The information about her death is divergent. Some report that she was shot dead in Brody at Ilawa defending herself until she was injured. At the place of her death an obelisk was set up after the war. Other sources say that the wound in battle died a few days after the injury in Radom.

After the war she was promoted to major and decorated with the Grunwald Cross. Her name was called street in Miedzeszyn and Warsaw hospital in Łagiewnicka street, and also in Krakow hospital in Prądnicka street (in the years 1948-1990, current patron John Paul II). Bibliography
