Ignacy Święcicki (born August 28, 1911, Zakyla, today in Belarus, died February 20, 2008 in York) is a lieutenant in the Polish Air Force in the West, a World War II veteran.

He was the son of Boleslaw and Konstancja, born in Zakory in the Borisov district. He attended Gimnazjum im. King Zygmunt August in Vilnius, where he became friends with the future poet Czesław Miłosz. Graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology.

During World War II he was a pilot of the 318th Fighter-Reconnaissance Division of Gdansk. In recognition of the merits of the war, he was decorated with the Cross of Valor three times. After the war ended, he remained in the United States, where he worked as a designer of hydroelectric turbines. From 1949 he lived in York.
