Victor François de Broglie

Victor-François de Broglie (born October 19, 1718, March 30, 1804 in Münster) is a duke, French marshal. His father, François Marie de Broglie, was the French marshal, while his younger brother, Charles François de Broglie, a French general and diplomat. The Marshal of France was in 1759.

During the Seven Years War he was the best French commander, at the outbreak of the Revolution he was the Minister of War. Famed as a strong reactionary. Abandoned by the army, he went abroad. He had Claude's son, Victor de Broglie. Authoritative control (person):
