Vascular disorders
Vascular conflict, neurovascular conflict - a pathogenetic mechanism underlying many neurological and systemic disorders. Vascular disorders occur when an abnormal anatomical configuration of the blood vessels (mainly arteries, rarely veins) and cranial nerves occurs. It is believed that a change in vessel volume caused by its ripple leads to chronic irritability of the nerve and induces abnormal agitation. It has been hypothesized that it also leads to demyelination.
