Danuta Jędrejek


Danuta Jędrejek from Panasiuk's house (born January 17, 1947 in Biała Podlaska) - Polish athlete, Olympian.

She started in sprinting. At the 1972 Olympics in Munich she performed in the 4 x 100 m relay race, finishing in the 8th place. She has participated in the European Championship three times, the last one being the most successful. In Athens in 1969 she fell in the semi-finals of 100 m, and in a relay 4 x 100 m with her participation took 5th place in the final. In Helsinki in 1971 she again fell in the semifinal at 100 m, and in the relay 4 x 100 m was fourth. Finally in Rome in 1974 once again she fell in the semifinal run of 100 m, and in the relay she won a bronze medal (along with Ewa Dulinka, Barbara Bakulin and Irena Szewińska). At the 1973 European Indoor Championships in Rotterdam, she dropped out in the elimination round at 60 m.

She was a Polish Champion at 100 m in 1969 and a six-time vice champion: at 100 m in 1971 and 1975, at 200 m in 1969 and 1975 and a 4 x 100 m relay in 1980 and 1982. She also won a silver medal at 60 m in HMP in 1973. < / p>

She won the European Cup Final in 1970 in a 4 x 100 m relay (5th place). She played in 27 matches of the Polish national team (1 individual win). Nine times improved the record of Poland in the relay 4 x 100 m (to score 43.22 s). He is the current record of Poland in non-Olympic competition - relay 4 x 200 m.
