Abram Brand (born 1923, d. 2007 in Żary) - Polish activist of the Jewish community, longtime chairman of the Żary branch of the Jewish Religious Community in Wrocław, 1965-2007 chairman of the Żarski branch of the Jewish Social and Cultural Society in Poland and President of the Association Jewish Combatants and Victims of World War II. November 14, 2000 was marked Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in recognition of outstanding merits in social activities for the benefit of the Jewish community. He is buried in the Jewish cemetery's Jewish quarters at Szpitalna Street in Żary.
