Jadassohn's sebaceous gland (sebaceous plaque, Latin nevus sebaceus Jadassohn) - a congenital change in the skin of the hamartoma. It has a single, oval or linear focus on the scalp or neck, and in puberty it has a wart-like appearance. During puberty, nodular lesions or tumors may develop, and there is a risk of malignancy. Extensive changes in the sebaceous gland combined with other developmental disturbances are attributed to Schimmelpenning-Feuerstein-Mims syndrome. The disease was described in 1895 by German dermatologist Josef Jadassohn.
