Vergi chamber (the sixth chamber, Strambius chamber, Verga's ventricle, the sixth ventricle, the ventricle of Strambio, Latin ventriculus fornicis, ventriculus triangularis) - an anatomical variant of the cavity extending back to the back of the cavity Transparent baffles. The term "sixth chamber" is incorrect, because the Vergi chamber does not contain cerebrospinal fluid, nor does it contain ependymias. There is no connection to the cerebral ventricular system.
It was first described by the Italian anatomy of Andrea Verga in 1851.
The incidence of this anatomical variant was 2.3%. They are more common in children, with age disappearing.
