Michel Jonasz (born 21 January 1947 in Drancy) is a French singer, songwriter and actor.

He is the son of Hungarian emigres and at the age of 15 he left school and took up artistic work. In 1966, with his guitarist friend, they created the band King Set. The team was successful in 1967-1968. Then in 1968 he began his solo career initially as Michel Kingset, and from 1970 under his own name. However, since 1974 his work has gained more popularity. Its popularity has been consolidated on the French scene and Michel Jonasz has released over 25 albums, many of which have earned gold or platinum status.
