Willy Frey


Willy Frey (born April 10, 1924, May 28, 1947) is a captain in the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp and war criminal.

The political prisoner who stayed in the Mauthausen camp from February 5 to May 1945. The camp authorities established Freya a prisoner of function. As such, he performed the functions of block, kapo and guard. He abused his prisoners, leading some to death.

In the trial of Mauthausen-Gusen (US vs. Johann Altfuldisch and others), he was sentenced to death by the American Military Tribunal in Dachau. Suspended in Landsberg Prison on May 28, 1947. Bibliography
