Zbigniew Lisowski

Zbigniew Lisowski (born 1967) - Polish director, theater scriptwriter, director of the Baj Pomorski Theater (since August 2003).

The theater was in the sphere of interest in the school, but not immediately decided that it would be a place for his professional performance. Initially he decided to study gardening at the Warsaw School of Economics. He directed them for directing at the Białystok branch of the Academy of Theater in Warsaw.

After graduating in 1997 he cooperated with puppet theaters in Bialystok, Olsztyn, Zielona Góra, where he prepared performances that distinguished him from the generation of young puppet theater directors. In 1999 he became artistic director of the Gulliver Theater in Warsaw. Such projects as: Jaskółeczka Tadeusz Słobodzianka, Marian Pečko's mind to the head, placed him in the group of artists seeking new forms of expression in the puppet theater. He based his performances on various forms of acting expression, combines the convention of puppets with other types of theatrical art, and readily refers to modern multimedia solutions, eg: video projections, computer animations. He is interested in the widest possible form of theater, which reacts rapidly to modern stage design and music. In the field of repertoire activities, it aims to create a Thematic Theater, which will help to talk with children and young people about matters of their importance and interest. Under the leadership of Baja, he put a strong emphasis on promoting his new face as a very active theater in the city, promoting the arts through social and educational programs. At present it is responsible for the modernization and expansion of Baja.

March 22, 2010 at the Institute of Theater. Zbigniew Raszewski in Warsaw, at the ceremony on the occasion of the World Day of Puppetry, received the Bronze Medal "Merit of Gloria Artis" from the Minister of State at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Żuchowski.
