Garfield on the Town is the second half hour animated film created on the theme of the Garfield comic. Garfield performed Lorenzo Music again, and Lou Rawls was responsible for the music. The film premiered in 1983 and, like its predecessor Here Comes Garfield, also won the Emmy Award.
