Strengthening of the Republic of Equality

Strengthening the Republic of Equality (ARI) - Argentine centrist political party.

It was founded in 2001 by Elise Carrió, a former member of the Radical Civil Union.

It was formed after the dissolution of the left-wing coalition government in 1999.

In the 2001 election, she received 17 out of 257 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and introduced one senator to the Argentine Senate.

In 2003, Carrió fought for the president's seat, but won only 14% of votes and lost.

In 2005, the party re-entered the parliament with 8 seats.
