Court psychiatry
Forensic psychiatry - a field of psychiatry closely linked to the judiciary. Judicial forensic psychiatry is the most commonly used judgment on sanity, ability to serve a sentence, or participation in court proceedings of suspected or accused persons. The court psychiatrist also assesses the ability to manage his or her case, including legal incapacitation, as well as the ability to consciously and freely express his or her will - this applies to court cases for the annulment of a will. The tasks of a psychiatrist may also be in other cases, depending on specific court orders (or prosecutors).
