Edward Brudzewski

He came from Wielkopolska. He was educated in the field of agronomy in Wroclaw, while studying as a member of the Literary-Slavonic Society (1859). Then he served in the ranks of the Prussian cavalry. After the outbreak of the January Uprising, he fought as an officer in the Apollo Kurowski branch, commanding a squadron of rides. He used the nickname Nalecz during the insurrection. He was wounded near Miechow.
After being interned by the Austrian authorities in Cracow, he fled to France and spent some time in exile. Having returned to the country, he settled down and settled in the nearby Korabniki. Here he met Wyspiański, who was a schoolmate of his sons Charles and Kazimierz. Wyspiański often came to Korabnik and became friends with a veteran of the uprising; The traces of this acquaintance can be found in the drama Liberation. Bibliography
