Hrabe Om's tirade


Omelan Hrabeć (uk. Омелян Грабець) ps. Bat'ko (born December 1, 1911 in Nowy Siole - died June 10, 1944 in Mikulinsky near Lytyn) - Ukrainian officer of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, one of the UPA-South commanders, nationalist.

He was a platoon leader in Prague and Galicia. In 1941 he commanded a division of the OUN marching groups, operating in the north of Ukraine. In the same year he was also the police commandant in Rivne. In the years 1941-1942, the commander of the OUN-B in the region of Equatorial Poland, in the years 1943-1944 the commander of UPA-South.

He was killed in combat with the Soviet troops.
