Jacques Mathieu Delpech
Jacques Mathieu Delpech (1777-1832) Jacques Mathieu Delpech (born 2 October 1777 in Toulouse, 28 October 1832 in Montpellier) is a French physician and surgeon. From 1832 he was a professor at the University of Montpellier. In 1816 he performed pioneering Achilles tendon surgery. He made an intersection in the foot of the horse.
