Lucifer (comic)
Lucifer is an American comic book series created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Keith and Mark Dringenberg. The cycle by Mike Carey appeared in the original Vertigo imprint of DC Comics from 1999 to 2006 in the form of a monthly; A total of 75 copies appeared, which were then collected in 11 volume volumes. In this form, the Lucifer series was published in Polish by Egmont Polska. Story
The series tells the story of the fallen angel Lucifer, who settled in modern Los Angeles, where he runs the nightclub "Lux". Under the hood of a charming man who likes luxury and good wine conceals cruelty, cynicism and selfishness. However, he is guilty of a particular code of honor, never lying. Lucifer is shown as the second most powerful being in the Universe (after Yahweh, in a comic called the God of the Covenant). The sun shepherd, using his former acquaintance, superior planning abilities and innate nonchalance, leads to the outbreak of a second revolution against the Creator, culminating in the endeavor of the eternal efforts of the Fallen Angel - he advances to God. This leads to the confrontation of Lucifer with many supernatural beings. The comic strips several times with the events of the related series of Sandman by Neil Gaiman (it was in this series in 1989 for the first time the comic character of Lucifer). It was Gaiman's idea to make his appearance on David Bowie. Tomy
