Leonhard Anselm Eichberger


Leonhard Anselm Eichberger (born January 22, 1915, May 29, 1946) is a Nazi criminal, report officer in the Dachau Concentration Camp and SS-Hauptscharführer.

Dachau staff member from January 15, 1943 to April 27, 1945. He served as a report officer (Rapportführer), responsible for the prisoners' appeals. One of its main tasks was the organization of executions of prisoners and Soviet POWs that took place in the Dachau area. He personally participated in the shootings. In addition, Eichberger repeatedly participated in the cruel interrogation of prisoners at the camp headquarters.

Dachau was condemned in the trial of the Dachau crew by the American Military Tribunal for the death penalty and hanged in prison at Landsberg in late May 1946. Bibliography
