Mieczysław Ałaszewski
Mieczysław Ałaszewski (born January 1, 1905 in Łódź, died April 5, 1987 in London) is a Polish athlete.
Alyzewski practiced football and basketball. He was a pupil of ŁKS Łódź. In 1925 he went to Polonia Warszawa, where he scored 48 goals in 123 meetings, which is the best result ever in the history of her performances in the league. In 1926, in the colors of the capital club won the vice-country championship. During his studies in Warsaw, he was a member of the Academic Association of Italy. In 1939, two days before the outbreak of World War II, he left the country, settling down in London. His brother, well known graphic artist Edward Ałaszewski, was also an athlete. Bibliography
