Tadmait (fr. Tademaït) - a plateau and a pebble desert lying in Algeria, in the Sahara. Tademaït is a natural region in the Sahara Desert in the center of Algeria. It is located north of In Salah and south of Great Erg Occidental in the Adrar district of the province of Adrar, in the El Ménia district of Ghardaïa province and in the northern tip of Tamanrasset province. This is one of the places in the Sahara desert, where the heat is the most extreme in the summer. Location of the Tademait Plateau in Algeria.

In November 2002 a meteorite was found on Tademaït.
