Trip hop
Trip hop - a music genre known as Bristol Sound or Bristol Acid Rap. It was established in the 90s in England. The name was used for the first time in the music magazine "Mixmag", to describe the current "hip-hop on acid", the species presented by Massive Attack on Blue Lines. The sound of trip-hop consists primarily of dub and rap, but later began to broaden this definition for every music genre based on dub rhythm or percussion loops at about 80 bpm (heavy beats per minute), heavy or sad atmosphere Tripwire also includes the Portishead group, which seems to display more "acidic jazz" than "acid hip hop".) Frequently used as a synonym for trip-hop is the term Bristol Sound. Because Bristol Sound is defined by the music of all the late-twentieth-century brides (eg Roni Size), it can be said that trip-hop is a subset of Bristol Sound. With this theme are related categories: triphop bands, triphop musicians.
