Berthead Court - a legal institution established to deal with inconsistent and disputable bartenders, acting within the jurisdiction of a byte.

At first the bartenders did not have separate courts, for example in Łomżyńskie, a judge of the Łomża Land was sitting in a court of bail. The Bielsko Land in Podlachia was a privilege granted in 1501 by the courts of the land and the starost, and the land of the drohicle (the privilege of 1511) by the dwarfs and writers of the city courts. Sometimes, the writer created a court of law, based on the earth, placing one magistrate and entrusting them with settling disputes. In this way, courts of divination (XV-XVI century) were formed.

There were several bartenders, a bartender, an undercover, and a starost who was the chairman of the court. In Mazovia, the legal capacity was limited to natural persons, with the party in the process being able, apart from the bartender, to be also a person from outside the organization. Capacity limitation was applied to banit, drunk people, people identified as mentally ill, women and minors. Judicial prosecutors, called plenipotentiaries or prosecutors, could be represented in the courts. Obviously, they had to have orphans and maybe widows.

No-one was admitted to the court, people with guns and women. Only widows were allowed to stay in court and act as parties even when they had plenipotentiaries. Bibliography
