Don Arden


Don Arden (born January 4, 1926, July 21, 2007) - father of Sharon Osbourne and former Black Sabbath rock group manager, The Small Faces and Electric Light Orchestra. He really was Harry Levy. Life

In his musical business, he was known for his unconventional methods of negotiation. beating, kneeling, or threatening to throw out of the window. Arden employed his muscular assistants, often armed.

The story goes back to 1966, when Arden, accompanied by a gorilla company, visited Robert Stigwood's office. The manager threatened to throw him out of the window if he did not stop interfering with his dealings with The Small Faces.

At the end of the 1970s, Black Sabbath's band threw Ozzy Osbourne's vocalist. It was then that Ozzy began to meet Sharon, daughter of Arden. From her father she took care of the singer's interests, which led Don Arden to fury. At one of the meetings, Arden's dogs attacked pregnant Sharon, who eventually lost her baby. For the next 20 years the daughter has not maintained any contact with her father. However, due to Ozzy's mediation, his wife has reconciled with his father, as shown in the reality show "The Osbourne Family." Then Arden met with his grandchildren: Jackie, Kelly, and Aimee.

In his last years he suffered from Alzheimer's disease.
