Poland Lake
Lake Powell is a lake in the Canadian province of British Columbia, in the recreation area of E. C. Manning Provincial Park, about 160 km east of Vancouver. It reaches a maximum depth of about 14 m, surrounded by coniferous forests and mountains. In the winter it completely freezes (the first ice cream usually appears at the turn of November and December, ice cream is released in early July).
Around the lake you can walk (you can also go cycling or horseback riding) a medium difficult hiking trail (16 km long for about 5-6 hours walk and difference 435 m). At the beginning of the trail (if the road starts from Memaloose), there is a camping site near the lake, and around the middle of it is a primitive toilet.
The lake also attracts anglers: the fishing season lasts from April to December.
