Rondane National Park (Norway: Rondane nasjonalpark) is Norway's oldest national park, established on December 21, 1962. It has many peaks above 2000 m, with the highest peak of Rondslottet (2178 m). Rondane is home to wild reindeer herds.
In 2003, the area of the park was expanded, which now occupies 963 square kilometers in the Oppland and Hedmark regions. The largest national park in Norway is situated in the immediate vicinity of the Jotunheimen mountain range.
