Royal Way in Lublin

View of the Old Town from Lublin Castle

Royal Route in Lublin - a communication route in the Old Town of Lublin.

From Castle Hill, a stone bridge across the Grodzka Gate, to the Old Town (including the Jewish Quarter), then to Grodzka Street, through the Krakow Gate and the Łokietka Square to Krakowskie Przedmiescie. Historically, the road was led by Szeroka (destroyed during World War II), then ul. Kowalska and ul. Świętoduska, to the Krakow Gate.

There are a number of historic buildings along the Royal Route. The Royal Castle, the ruins of the parish, the Pharmacy Museum, the town hall buildings: the Old (Crown Court) and the new, historic tenements.
